Climate Change: School children strike to force climate action

Hundreds of school age children have taken to the streets of Cardiff to demand action in the face of a they claim is a 'climate crisis.'

The march is part of the global 'climate strike' movement, spearheaded by environmental activist Greta Thunberg, that will see schoolchildren worldwide take part in similar marches to voice their concerns.

Armed with banners, chants, and slogans the procession made it's way throughout Cardiff city centre, when most of it's participants were scheduled to be in school.

Protester Jack Jones said: "A lot does need to be done, for a lot of the world this will be hell on Earth."

The aim of the protest is to urge policy makers to take climate change seriously, and implement laws to protect the environment.
