Love and happiness: Writer says older people hold the secrets to a happy life
By Tyler Edwards

How do you find love? How do you find happiness? How do you deal with loneliness?
These are some of the questions Mollie Rawnsley from Tooting in London thinks older people have the answers to.
Mollie wants to use letters to connect the younger and older generations who she feels are sometimes poles apart.
She wants to use these letters to create a book with life tips from over 65s for younger people to read – she thinks people often neglect the valuable information that their grandparents can share.
Mollie's grandma, who lives in Yorkshire, tried to contact her through her mobile but could not master the knack of technology. So, she wrote her a letter.
This is what inspired Mollie to set up the project ‘Letters To Our Grandchildren’.
She said: “I don’t think everyone’s had the lucky experience I have by having such a close relationship with my grandma.
“So, if I could open up people’s eyes to how special and interesting the older generation can be, that’d be really cool.”
