Climate Change: Cardiff students strike for climate justice
Hundreds of young people in Cardiff have abandoned their studies for the day to join the third ‘School Strike for Climate’.

They claim there is very little time to mend environmental damage and slow down climate change.

This is one of thousands of protests happening in the UK and the world, campaigning for governments to take more action.

Organisers of the march in Cardiff urged voters to put climate change at the top of their priorities for next month’s general election.

The protests were supported by local environmental activist groups.

Becky Harford, from Friends of the Earth Cymru, said: “It’s really difficult trying to take individual action.

It’s more about community action, trying to get people together where I live to make the community use less plastic.”
